PERSONAL PRONOUNS AND VERB “TOBE” PERSONAL PRONOUN A personal pronoun is a short word we use as a simple substitute for the proper name of a person. Each of the English personal pronouns shows us the grammatical person, gender, number, and case of the noun it replaces. I, you, he, she, it, we they. (Un pronombre personal es una palabra corta que usamos como sustituto (que REEMPLAZA) el nombre de una persona, objeto o animal. Cada uno de los pronombres personales en inglés, nos muestra la persona gramatical (primera, segunda o tercera persona), el género (femenino o masculino), número (singular o plural) del sustantivo que reemplaza. Yo, tú, él, ella, eso/e/a, nosotros, ellos/as) VERB “TO BE” The VERB “to be” is a verb used to describe something or someone. In English, it can be used to say different things according to the context. However, the most common use of the to be verb is to talk about names, age, feeling, nationalities, and professions, especially when talking in the present tense. (el verbo “ser o estar” es un verbo utilizado para describir a alguien o algo. Se puede usar para decir diferentes cosas en relación con el contexto.
