CHAPTER 1

The children of the walker family were enjoying their school holidays at Holly Howe Farm, while their father was on a trip to Hong Kong, the children with an adventurous spirit had spotted an island near where they were and which they happily decided ask permission to navigate to it and camp for a few days there. Mr. Dixon, the children's father granted permission by letter and the excited children began to prepare supplies to leave as soon as possible on a sailboat that their mother had shown them. The children set sail for the island and on their way they observed a Floating ship with a fat man and a green parrot inside, in addition the man had a cannon in his boat so the children thought it was a pirate, then they arrived on the island and were located on the east coast of it.

CHAPTER 2

Already on the island the children pitched their tents; one for John and Roger, and one for Susan and Kitty. Then they collected some firewood and built a fire in the ring of stones. Susan quickly got to work, making tea and scrambled eggs for the hungry crew. They set up a small observatory with a telescope in which they observed Mr. Jackson, Holly Howe's farmer, Mr. Jackson had some messages from the walker's mother such as her time on the island indicating that they could be there until on Sunday and they had to return Monday. In addition, Mr. Jackson explained to them that Mr. Turner was an adventurer who had traveled all over the world and that it was also believed that an incredible treasure was hidden in his houseboat.

CHAPTER 3

In the development of this chapter the Walker crew has had a fun exploration and discovering islands around their own. On the morning of the third day they recognized a ship near the pirate's houseboat, then they observed a ship with two blonde girls approaching their island, who turned around showing a black flag. The following day the Walker children were reunited after the return of their brother Roger, when an arrow hit their saucepan and they were entrenched by the two blonde girls and after a relatively short talk they met to the point of agreeing that the pirate is their common enemy and devise a plan to corner him in his ship and make him walk the board, then they struck a deal to find out who will lead the attack.

CHAPTER 4

In this chapter we are told from a sad perspective at the beginning, since he will not be able to make war with the Amazons, however some of the children go to the dixon farm for milk and return with a message from Mr. Dixon to Turner, which says: you should put a padlock on your door. The children go to collect firewood before lunch and return about two hours later, in their camp they observe a letter that prohibits them from approaching Mr. Turner's houseboat in a derogatory tone. The older brother decides to go alone to confront his recent enemy Turner, Turner rebukes him saying that they are responsible for the damage to his roof caused by fireworks and the inconvenience caused to his house, John knows it was the Amazons but not He plans to betray his allies and between a little discussion he is forced to retreat towards the island of the camp.

CHAPTER 5

The climax of the book is now narrated and the development of the war between swallows and amazons, the swallows decide to go through the amazons at night and leave before five in the afternoon, when they arrive at the place indicated by the amazons of the hiding place they discover a letter saying that they would not make the capture so easy, the swallows decide to continue upstream, meanwhile on the island of the swallows kitty is alone waiting for her brother to return, but she falls asleep and when she wakes up she hears voices similar to the of the Amazons, he decides to go to a nearby island and wait there for his brothers, however he hears a ship approaching in which two men are traveling carrying a heavy box, the men have a pirate dialogue emphasizing the treasure inside the box They buried in the sand near kitty, then the men leave and kitty looks for a snack to later fall asleep.

CHAPTER 6

In this chapter we observe the outcome of a central section of the book and it is the capture of boats by the swallows, kitty skillfully managed to capture the boat of the Amazons and in this way the swallows won the war. When the crew of the swallows return to talk with the Amazons and agree that they return at night to camp with them and begin to devise the plan against Turner the pirate, John delivers Mr. Dixon's message to the Amazons to give it to the Mr. Turner, however this has been out for a couple of days and they mention that they will deliver the message when he returns, said message we can think that it refers to the robbery that occurred the night before by the two unknown men.

CHAPTER 7

At this point the story takes a highly interesting turn, the pirate Turner returns from his trip and finds his home in a terrible disaster and above all there is no trunk in which he had his typewriter and the diaries that will be part of the book that was writing during the summer, Nancy one of the amazons comments with john what happened and he tells him that Turner believes that it was the swallows who threw the firework in his house and when he hears this nancy becomes enraged and begins to write quickly in a piece small piece of paper a letter for his uncle and thus clarify the situation regarding the swallows.

CHAPTER 8

This point in the story is something quite common in almost everyone who presents a childish and funny narrative, we can see how Nancy's valuable action to defend her new allies has paid off, Uncle Flint has read the letter and has retracted from everything that happened with john in the past, he chases nancy until he reaches the island of the swallows and the amazons and after a greeting from pirates he enters the island to apologize to john and meet the rest of the crew. It is at this moment when the war between swallows, amazons and Uncle Flint is declared, the latter invites them to go to his houseboat the next day at 3 o'clock to fight.

CHAPTER 9

This is undoubtedly the chapter of the outcome associated with the pirate war that is part of the main foundation of the book, the swallows and the Amazons have headed towards Uncle Flint's ship and with a whistle the fight to conquer the ship begins, the swallows and the amazons surround the boat and go up quickly, cornering Uncle Flint who can do little more than start running on the boat, however the boys corner him and he trips and falls to the ground, now he is tied and bandaged and in a few moments he finds himself Walking on the diving board of the boat to pay his sentence for the crimes committed in previous days, Flint falls into the water and the war ends, he returns to the boat and tells the boys to go down to another room to enjoy a pirate feast.

CHAPTER 10

We now come to the end of the book and one of the most satisfying moments for the reader after so much waiting, on Sunday morning Uncle Flint would go fishing with the children, however Kitty and Roger decided to go to Cormorant Island to look for the treasure of which kitty had heard about a few nights ago, after an intense search they found her box and shortly after the boat of Uncle Flint approached with the others, excited kitty shouted that she had found Flint's box, who upon reaching the island jumped and ran as fast as he could to see the treasure found where his typewriter and manuscripts were. After a while everyone said goodbye happily and promising to come back next year for more adventures on Wild Cat Island.
