Discover China
China is home to many diferent landmarks and landforms that heavily influenced the way the civlizations were deveopled and created. If you would like to vist China one day, consider visiting one of the two most famous landmarks both in Asia and in the world. Both of these landmarks have absolutely delightful and extraordinary views. Once you take a single glance at the Great Wall of China or the Himalayan Mountains you will not want to look away. If you do consider coming here, do not only come for the views, but also come to experience the culutre and history behind these two important wonders.
If you want to take the phrase, "Go Big or Go Home" literally then the Himalayas are the place for you to visit. The Himalayan Mountains are the highest mountains in the world, standing at 29,032 feet high. The Himalayas stretch out 1,550 miles and run through 5 countries. The Himalayas helped influence the development of China's civilization in a big way. Because the Himalayas are so big, they hid and isolated many of China from the rest of the world. For a long time the Chinese thought that they were alone and even named their land the "Middle Earth". The climate in the Himalayas is fairly temperate. The Summer temperatures average 86 degrees Fahrenheit. The average temperature in the winter is 64 degrees Fahrenheit. You should visit the Himalayas because of the mesmerizing views. Wherever you look, there is a guarantee that your jaw will drop wide open at the sight.
If you want to visit a beautiful, but also deeply historical place, the Great Wall of China is the place for you. The Great Wall of China had a great impact on the way Ancient China was developed. The great wall of China was built to protect the Ancient Chinese from northern Nomadic invaders. It took over 2,000 years to build and was mostly made out of stone, brick, earth, lime, and wood. The stone came from the Jiaoshan Mountain, where the wall was being built. When the wall was being built along the plains, materials like earth, brick, and lime were used. The temperatures in this area are an average of 54 degrees Fahrenheit. You might want to bring a light jacket! When visiting the Great Wall of China you won't only see the miles and miles of beauty, but also the centuries it entails.
