  • Ryerson's new strategic vision will guide the university for the next 10 years. Sustainability was one of the five values.
  • They opened two Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) targeting buildings: the Daphne Cockwell Complex and the Centre for Urban Innovation.
  • Enforced a four-stream system: waste to landfill, bottles and cans, paper and organics.

  • The St. George Campus is committed to a 37 per cent reduction of greenhouse emissions by 2030.
  • They aim to be climate positive by 2050.
  • They have four LEED buildings: the Rotman School of Management, the Lassonde Mining Building, the Munk School of Global Affairs and the exam centre on 255 McCaul St.
