What is the language function of extension and how does extending meaning help develop concrete cognition?
Answer 1Bryan Alexander Castro
It is a vital tool for opening up information and culture and from there projecting thoughts, ideas and emotions. We must understand that there is a receptive language that is the ability to understand things and an expressive language that is to transmit what has been learned between the two make up communication. It is that in this order of ideas the extension of language manages to generate an openness to the individual in front of knowledge and this in turn the extension of his cognitive area that allows him to develop in a more agile way in different contexts
Well, we must initially understand that language is a nervous activity that allows communication, from that root we will explain the importance of language in the cognitive area. Language is vital for this function as it contributes in areas such as: It helps to regulate directed behavior since it is a thought instrument that will lead us or not based on our thoughts.

Initially we must understand that language is a system of signs through which individuals communicate, its importance cognitive level is demarcated in different aspects at personal and social level, language and the way in which human beings communicate helps us to identify the way they think and act in different environments depending on their behavior and that is how language extension starts
with as a process of reception from infancy as long as the child is able to receive sensory input and perceptually process the sensory patterns into sound patterns about the things he sees, then the child learns the basic semantic relationships about people or agents, their actions and their objects in that way developing a specific personality, it all starts with receptive learning to obtain the ability to transmit using language.

The linguistic function of extension is one of the vital processes in human formation and communication. Although language is presented as a highly complex phenomenon to understand from a scientific point of view, this cognitive process is based on the learning that man from his early stages acquires through the sounds and messages that his parents or close people emit to him.
The linguistic function of extension acts as that first action of the child that evidences his understanding of the way he needs to communicate. The assimilation of sounds with meanings of situations is one of the main characteristics of linguistic extension.
the social intention functions
the greeting
Greetings play an essential role in everyday conversational routines and are commonly used as a ritual form of politeness. As such, they serve an important function in building and maintaining social relationships. Greetings often consist of brief conventionalized expressions that are not necessarily meant to be interpreted literally, but rather are used as a tool to demonstrate politeness or to enhance the hearer's positive face. A greeting statement often forms part of an adjacency pair, which consists of an initiation from the speaker and a response from the hearer, following an anticipated turn-taking routine. Though greetings are a highly frequent universal phenomenon, they can vary significantly within and across languages, social groups, and even among the same individual in different circumstances. In this way, greeting behavior can be influenced by the relationship between the speakers, the social context at hand, as well as cultural differences that govern the politeness norms of the given community, among other factors.

the existing
This word is used to describe something that is already present, available or functioning, especially when compared to something that is planned for the future. Recognize the existence of a person, his conditions and his environment, the existence of knowledge, customs that are part of the cognitive development of a person. The existence is a very broad term, which can be used in different areas to recognize the existence of these factors influence the cognitive processes.

Negating
Negating is one of the first social interaction functions that humans acquire after birth. This basically consists of the action of denying what others affirm, i.e., denial is the result of a proposition made by another individual. Negation is fundamental for the child's communication. Through it, the individual can express what he/she considers as beneficial or the opposite, for him/herself. This process is accompanied by an understanding on the part of the infant that allows him/her to discern between what he/she wants and what he/she does not want. Commonly this usually appears in the first two years after the birth of the baby, and as an example of this we can establish the following situation: The father proposes to the child that they go to another room different from where they are at the moment, to which the child responds by saying "No", or denying with a gesture or sound.

what expanded language functions are.

examples of expanded functions
FLEXIBILITY
Relegation and semanticity are two types of expanded language functions that take the introductory semantic relationship of an agent, action, and object and move the meaning, these language functions allow the speaker to be further inflexibility with language. Example: Still, they should concentrate attention on material parcels (texture, color), If a 1- time-old hears that some object is made of aluminum (an strange word). Still, they should shift attention from its material to some conspicuous part, If they also hear that the object has a hand.
REDUNDANCY
When speaker continues to acquire meaning through the neuro-semantic language literacy system, also the speaker may try to use further words to convey a particular meaning. Example: Ever and ever – ever is fully gratuitous as it just serves as a duplicate of ever.
Productivity
Linguistic functions such as flexibility, such as change and semantics, extended help the person to become more productive, because the person who has maximum use to these linguistic functions usually becomes more productive shows that what has apparently been unproductive for many decades or even centuries may come to have some degree of productive life, and may do so in certain dialects or sociolects while in others it does not. Example Performing activities that generate some kind of personal or work growth where its constancy generates change and gain.
Semanticity
Semanticity then, unlike productivity, seeks that the child assigns a specific meaning to an idea, this initial process being different from the one carried out as an adult, since as a child, such idea or conception is associated with a label, unlike as an adult, it is associated with a word. In this way, semanticity is a growing process, which accompanies man throughout his life, and increases in complexity as the years go by, since he acquires new concepts that give different meanings to these elements, ideas and others.
Conclusion
The professional's knowledge of linguistic functions provides a plus in the attention to the student. That is to say, when understanding how the brain acts in the communicative processes, this provides the ability to generate the necessary channels and manage the information adequately so that the knowledge is acquired more effectively. It is vital to understand that the communication process is highly complex, and that although there are common features among individuals, the ideas, meanings and general reasoning of each one of them, makes it necessary to act according to the search for the general understanding of the information, adapting it to the needs, qualities and other factors involved in each person.
