Why learn about Partition?

As we evolve as human beings, it is important to look back on historical events for context and understanding. If the event was devastating for many people, its important we ensure it never happens again.

Why is the partition so significant in history?

'India and Pakistan won independence from British Colonial rule in August 1947.
