Thorn Forest
- Thorn Forest is a type of desert formation which has scrub-like vegetation. They are mostly tropical and subtropical forests having trees and plants with armed thorns and spines.
- The vegetation found here is often short and small with few tall trees set against the sparse ground where grass lacks.

- The annual rainfall is less than 750 mm (30 in), all falling during the short rainy season, and the area receives no rainfall during the months of November to April.
- Temperatures can exceed 40 °C (104 °F) during the hotter months.

- A thorn forest consists primarily of small, thorny trees that shed their leaves seasonally. Cacti, thick-stemmed plants, thorny brush, and arid-adapted grasses make up the ground layer.

The trees found here are short, stunted and scattered
Humidity conditions are less than 5 per cent
