Frequency adverbs
- In affirmative sentences, they go between the subject and the verb.
I always watch TV in the afternoon.
- In questions, they go between the subject and the verb.
Do you usually wake up very early?
- In negative sentences, they go between don't / doesn't and the verb.
I don't usually go shopping.
- With verb To Be, frequency adverbs go after the verb in affirmative and negative sentences.
I am / am not always very happy.
- With verb To Be, frequency adverbs go after the subject in questions.
