introduction- -Fables are a fictional short story told usually through animals that speak and act as humans. -The fable is told in such a way that it teaches the reader an important lesson, or it has a moral and a lesson in human behavior. -It is important to understand that because they have been a part of most countries cultures as well as continuing to be a significant part of literature for all children, we give a brief explanation of their history.

History- -After they were collected by the Greeks, fables became more popular in the middle ages. -In the 12th century a collection written by Marie France was published. -In the 1668, Jean de la Fontaine produced a collection focusing on human vanity, the church and human bourgeoise. -In the 19th century fables became a large part of children children literature. -Animal farm by George Orwell (in 1945) was one of the most famous fable of that era. -Today, fables are told and retold in many languages, especially in Japanese and Indian.

About the author- -He was born in the 4th century. -He lived in Greece. -Aesop was a story teller and not an author. -He created over than 600 fables. -He died violently by being thrown out of a cliff. (But it has never been proved)

Analysis of the literary devices- 1) Irony- She knew what she could've done with the good milk she had but in the end non what she wished for happened. 2) Anecdote- Don't plan to spend the money you may never get.

The moral of the fable- "Do not count on your chickens before they are hatched" (Do not count on getting money before you completed the first step on your success) Examples: 1) When you go to a job interview, and you finish the interview believed went well, you started telling people about your new job and how successful you are, when in reality there is a chance you did not get the job. 2)Never book a hotel abroad before you have a flight booked.

The hen and her cellphone- Noa GabbaiOn a large and rich farm lived a beautiful and white hen. She was popular and avery animal, big or small, loved her. In fact she was so popular that she would spend every minute of the day playing and talking with firends. One day the farmer decided to give the hen a brand new cell phone because she was his favorite and he wanted her to be happy. The little hen became fascinated by this wonderful machine she didn't even have time to say good morning when her friends passed by. She would stand alone all day smiling into her camera taking selfies and chatting on her whatsapp. One day her cellphone smashes to the ground and broke into little pieces. So off she hopped to go and play with her friends but sadly each and every one of them turned their back on her and then one by one, walked away.

The monkeys' big fight- Ella SchongutOnce upon a time there was a family of monkeys. Luna and Zack with their two beautiful children. The oldest was a boy named Ben and the little one was a girl named Emma.On a monday night, the two kids woke up from hearing their parents yelling at each other. They were very concerned and barely slept that night. When the morning arrived they ate breakfast and rapidly noticed that daddy wasn't there. Emma then asked "Is daddy not eating breakfast with us today?". And Luna explained that they had an argument and that daddy won't be back home for a while. Shen then walked them to school and told them jokes all the way to school to make them laugh. When they got home from school she took them to eat banana ice cream wish she knew was their favorite flavor and then played with them until it was time for them to go to bed. She would take them to the movies and buy them presents to make them happy. She bought Ben the new video game that he'd been talking about for such a long time and bought Emma the blond barbie she'd been asking for.Because of what Emma and Ben were going through, with missing their dad that they hadn't seen for a long time, it was important for Luna to be there for them and to make sure they were happy. A week or two passed by when Lune began to realise she forgot how it felt like to be happy too.
