Use: Indicating that there is more than enough. Structure: Subject + verb + "too" + adjective / adverb+ complement. Example: You are too young to understand.

Use: It is used with plural countable nouns. Estructure: How many + noun. Example: There are too many ships in the port. / Hay demasiados barcos en el puerto.

Equivalences: Too much is used with uncountable nouns, for example, joy or peace, while too many is used with countable nouns like fingers or pencils. Use: Too much is used to say that something is more than we need, it is used before uncountable nouns or after a verb. Structure according to use: • Before an uncountable noun. Structure: too much + uncountable noun. Example: There was too much traffic this week. • After a verb. Structure: Verb + too much. Example: I ate too much at the party

Usage: used with nouns, adjectives, another adverb or before a preposition to indicate that something is sufficient for something or someone. Structure according to use: • With nouns:. Subject + verb + enough + noun + complement. Example: I think I put enough sugar in my coffee. • With adjectives or adverbs: Subject + verb + adjective / adverb + enough + complement. Example: Mike is tall enough to join the national basketball team. • With prepositions: Noun + verb + adjective / adverb + enough + preposition + pronoun / noun. Example: These jeans are tight enough for me. Equivalences: Too and enough are used to express quantities. We can find them by quantifying adverbs, adjectives and also names.

Use: Is used to talk about something that has not been needed. Structure: • Not + enough + noun Example: There is not enough food for everyone = No hay suficiente comida para todos. • Not + adjective + enough Example: Jimmy was not old enough for that game = Jimmy no era lo suficientemente grande para ese juego.

Use: It is used to intensify any adjective that comes before it. Structure: Very + adjective + noun. Example: He’s a very intelligent man. (Él es un hombre muy inteligente).
