- An assortment of the group called the Ifugaos built the Banaue Rice Terraces – ‘eighth wonder of the world’.
Igorot tribe includes the:
- Bontoc - Bontoc Igorot, Guianes
- Ibaloi - Nabaloi or Inibaloy
- Isneg - Isnag and Apayao
- Kalinga - Igorot found in Kalinga province
- Kankanaey - Applai or Aplai.
- Tinguian - Itneg or literally, Itineg
- Gaddang - Gadan, Gaddanes, Iraya, and Irraya,
- Ilongots - Bungkalot, known their intense aggresiveness and cultural conservatism
- comprises about 13 ethnic groups
- known for tribal music produced by musical instruments they’ve created
