Sweeney Tood visited the shop of John Crook, he was thin, poor and sadJohn had a really unhappy childhood, because his mother bring him if she didn't had money to help him to survive In London, his parents decided to leave him alone at home, so he was taken to the local churchSweeney was arrested for theft and he got sent to Newgate Prison

Newgate prison was a horrible and frightening plaec, only prionsoners with many were treated well by the prison workers. Elmer was a prison barber and with Sweeney became good friends, he teached him how to be a barberDuring his stay, he promised to take revenge against societySweeney left prison at 19 and started working as a traveling barber, during this he committed his first murder.He earned money to buy on a shop
