The Zodiac Killer was a man who operated in North California during the decades 60's and 70's, with 5 victims supported and 2 survivor, although he affirmed had killed 37 persons in one of his encode letters to the newspapers also he said that the intention was have fun.

MURDER IN LAKE HERMAN ROAD, VALLEJO.

On December 20, 1968, on Lake Herman Road in Vallejo, 17-year-olf David Faraday and 16-year-old Betty Lau Jensen were shot and killed while sitting in a parked car in gravel parking area. By the time police arrived, Betty was found dead but David was still alive. Unfortunately, he would die on the way to the hospital. This was the first murder that The Zodiac Killer conducted and got away with.

MURDER IN BLUE ROCK SPRINGS PARK, VALLEJO.

The Zodiac's next crime would happen on July 4, 1969, in Blue Rock Springs Park, only a few minutes away from the previous crime. The Zodiac Killer approached a parked car with a flashlight and the murdered 22-year-old Darlene Ferrin and 19-year-old Michael Mageau, both were still alive when found but only Mageau would survive. He was able to describe the shooter as a young, white male, 26-30 years old, a stocky build, 200 pounds or larger, about 5,8 with light brown curly hair and a large face. Wiithin an hour, the police received a phone call from someone who claimed to be the shooter and the shooter in the Lake Herman Road murders.

LAKE BERRYESSA ATTACK.

The last pair targeted were Bryan Hartwell and Cecilia Shepard. They both were stabbed multiple times beside a Lake in Napa. On September 27, 1969, while Bryan Hartnell and Cecilia Shepard were enjoying a picnic at the edge of the Lake Berryessa, a men moved strangely closer to them with a gum and after hiding behind a tree he finally attacked them with a knife. A man and her son discovered them while they were fishing. Cecilia Shepard finally died 2 days later at the hospital, but Hartnell is one of the victims that survived to the zodiac killer, and actually he is still liviving.

PRESIDIO HEIGHTS murder.

Once again, on October 11 of the same year a man interrupted at Saul Stine’s taxi and asked him about carrying him to Washington’s road.For an unknown reason Stine arrived at the next street. There, the man shoot his head and later stole his taxi, his wallet and hist-shirt too. The zodiac killer dammed this murder by sending bloody clothing to the San Francisco Chronicle. Three teenagers had seen him and called the police, but the police arrived a few minutes later when the man had already gotten away. This was the final linked victim, Saul Stine 29-years-old.

Zodiac KILLER's LETTERS

The Zodiac Killer was very intelligent, he sent letters to regional newspapers. The letters had cryptograms and ciphers in which he explained that he was collecting his victims as slaves for the afterlife.In one of his letters he named himself. Of the four ciphers, two are still unsolved. One of the two that were solved, was solved in December of 2020 by three fans of the case. The FBI confirmed that the fans solved the cipher. In another letter he wrote "I like killing people because it is so much fun, it´s more fun than killing wild". He typewrited a confession that he had killed 37 people.

Principal suspicious: Arthur leigh allen

Arthur was the principal suspect during many years , he was investigated in 1971 because his friend had reported his supposed crime in the Department of Manhattan Beach, the complaint was sent to the police of San Francisco. When Arthur was interrogated, he said “The knives that I had in my car, I utilized them to kill chickens” These evidence was found the day of the double attack in Lake Berryessa. He wasn´t declared guilty because the DNA evidence didn´t coincide with him. He was a teacher of an elementary school, and a sex offender who died in 1992.

The rEAL MURDER:GARY FRANCIS POSTE

In 5 of October of 2018 a one group of investigators called “The Case Breakers” discovered the real identity of the zodiac killer, this murder was Gary Francis Poste who died in 2018, the identity of this murderer was found because the robot portait (made in 1969) coincide with one scar in his forehead that appears in one photo of his personal darkroom.
