4ème Anglais renforcé

On the occasion of the sad 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, students in 4ème Anglais renforcé have worked on the different events surrounding this landmark in American history. Thanks to numerous documents (audio, video and text), they were able to reconstruct and produce various testimonies of victim’s families, survivor, officials, journalists or even emergency workers.You can read their productions by navigating on this interactive presentation.

A l’occasion du triste vingt deuxième anniversaire des attentats du 11 septembre 2001, les élèves de 4ème anglais renforcé ont travaillé sur les évènements entourant ce fait marquant de l’histoire américaine. Grâce à divers documents (audios, vidéos et textuels), ils ont pu reconstituer et produire différents témoignages de familles de victime, de survivants, de haut fonctionnaires, de journalistes ou encore de secouristes.Leurs productions sont accessibles en navigant sur cette présentation interactive.

THE EVENT

America was under attack

It started on Tuesday 9/11 at 8h46. A 1st plane crashed into the north tower on the 88th floor. It was the plane of the flight from Boston-Los Angeles .

4 minutes later , the 4th and last in pensylvanie. That made 40 victims. The terrorist were aiming the White House.

34 minutes later , 3rd plane crashed in the pentagon. That made 184 victims at 9:59, the south tower collapsed.

The last event of the day was when the North tower collapsed.

Then , at 9:03, a second plane crashed in the south tower . That was a massive explosion at the 60th floor .

The president promised veagence the US, the 9/11 event created the afghanistan war which ended 20 years after, this month.

So this different attacks make :-2977 victims -4 plane crash -500 000 $ lost -102 minutes of nightmare
