Introduction

The purpose of this project is to support the citizenship awareness of the children. Furthermore, we want to awake children interest in the importance of being part of a whole universe with concrete examples. We believe that all traditions and cultures are essential, so we want to support all children to reinforce their self-image. In the project, children will look at the geography and history of their country and other countries. They will see that though there are different cultures, they all have human values in common. Therefore, we expect to achieve to motivate children to care for and respect diversity. .

The project will be carried fro September to January 2022. September: We will use time to prepare material, decide the logo, poster and brucher. Children will decide the name of the projects. undirbúnings .

Time line project

November: Children will present their city. They will make a video to show the places they like most. They also will meet at Twin space. December: We will be talking about Iceland stories. We will make a video to show Iceland and unique places. We will have a nice Nacional clothed day. We will share voices by singing or rhymes.

Children presentation. Make a video of the children presentation. Children will work on their experience of their country and their city. October: Children will make a short history about themselves and their family traditions. Teachers will put the information on a website.
