Housing High-Rise in Heilbronn

SKAIO is Germany’s first wooden high-rise and currently the country’s tallest wooden building. The u values for the precedents walls are 0.5 W/m² K and the floor about 4.1 W/m² K followed by roof with 1.67 W/m² K. Housing high rise tries to implement renewable resources for insulation and other purposes.

Housing high rise makes use of multiple renewable raw materials. Its designs implements climate friendly wood which stores up 1,200 metric tons of carbon dioxide and the timber elements provide insulation or the exterior saving energy. This precedent also makes use of prefabrication during construction reduces energy waste.
