INTEGUMENTARY SYSTEM
Hair, Skin, & Nails FUNCTION: protects inside of your body from outside world. Helps maintain HOMEOSTASIS (water balance & body temperature)
ENDOCRINE SYSTEM: Thyroid, Pancreas, THymas, Adrenal Glands, Pituitary Gland, Hypothalamus FUNCTION: PRODUCES & DELIVERS hormones throughout the body. Hormones adjust how the body works.
IMMUNE / LYMPHATIC
Spleen, Tonsils, Lymph Nodes, Thymus, Bone Marrow FUNCTION: Removes foreign matter & waste from cells & transports infection fighting cells.
REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM Testes, Ovaries, etc... FUNCTION: allows humans to sexually reproduce
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
Mouth, Esophogus, stomach, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder, liver, rectum. FUNCTION: Takes in food & breaks it down for energy.
