What is the Zero Day Exploit?

The Zero Day exploit is when hackers search through millions of files of software before they are released and try to find a exploit. They do this by trying to find cracks in the system of the website which they can use to gain access and maybe hold it for ransom

How can it be prevented?

The only way hat this type of attack can be prevent is by trying to find the exploit before the website is even uploaded pre-lauch. They will have to do this by trying to hack into the system and find any defects which might allow them to be able to gain access.

What can be stolen during Zero Day Exploits

Normally hackers gain access to pre launched websites that are going to launched by companies in the near future. In a lot of cases they hold these websites and demand financial payment for heir return. In a small amount of cases hackers have taken whole applications and destryoed and defaced the code.
