The tortoise and the hare
Fable
Once upon a time, a hare was showing off how fast it could run when a tortoise challenged it to a race.
When the hare accepted and the other animals laughed, the tortoise was holding back his anger.
The next day in the race, while the hare was running faster than ever, the tortoise walked only a few steps from the starting line.
The tortoise was walking slowly but steadily, while the hare decided to stop in the middle of the road to rest and sleep.
Finally, when the tortoise was crossing the finish line, the hare woke up and realized that it didn´t win.
The hare learned that we should not belittle others and that overconfidence can be an obstacle to achieving our goals.
