¿Who is Ada Lovelace?

Augusta Ada King, better known as Ada Lovelace was born on December 10, 1985, her parents got divorced when she was 1 month old. Since then, her mother obtained custody of her and was in charge of educating her, transmitting her passion for science and mathematics.Even through the 19th century women did not usually study science, her mother made sure that she had good teachers, such as the Scottish astronomer Mary Somerville. When she was 20 years old, she married William King, later she had 2 sons and a daughter, and even so, she continued studying what she was most passionate about, mathematics. She met the scientist Charles Babbage, who was creating the Analytical Engine (a computer that represented an important step in informatic history). She and Babbage became friends.Ada's health wasn't very good, she died of uterine cancer in 1852 and she was buried, at her request, next to the grave of her father, who died in 1824.

¿What discovered Ada Lovelace?

Ada Lovelace's most important work was called "Notes", that was created when she was colaborating with Charles Babbage and basically this notes were the first computer program ever. "Notes" were a traduction from an article of Luigi Federico Menabrea (Italian) and also her own study about how the Analytical Engine works. This work was published in a scientific magazine called Scientific Memoirs in 1853. She sign with A.A.L because being a woman could damage her work. But early was discovered that "Notes" were from Ada Lovelace and scientists did not take it seriously. Later in the history, her work was recognized and a new actual programming language was created,
