OBJECTIVES

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

-Doing this proyect I'm going to learn a lot of usefull information about the birth rates given that after doing it a didn't have idea about this theme.

-WHY THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD IS IMPORTANT IS PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY? Because it help us to understant much better the different hypothesis that we could want to resolve.

SCIENTIFIC OBJECTIVES:

-I choose this topic because I think that the birth rates are interesting and also is a topic that I never had listen about it so I want to know more things about it.

-Does the full moon really affect in birth rates?

SCIENTIFIC METHOD

OBSERVATION

-My observation about the births and the phases of the moon is that we observe that depending the phases of the moon the number of births it could be higher or lower. We are going to investigate about if in days of full moon the average of births is higher.

QUESTION

-Does the full moon really affect the average of births?

HYPOTHESIS

-My hypothesis is that in days of full moon the average of births is bigger than in the days of other phases.

EXPERIMENT

-For watching if the hypothesis is correct first I search in google some celebrities born in January, February, March and April of 1980, I clasify them and after that I make a chart with the celebrities born in each phase of the moon. -EXPERIMENT MATERIALS- A paper, a pen and a Chromebook

ANALYSIS OF RESULTS

-WITH THIS RESEARCH WE CONFIRMED THAT THE THEORIE OF THE FULL MOON IS TRUE, BECAUSE AS WE SEE IN THE EXPERIMENT IN DAYS OF FULL MOON MORE NUMBER OF PERSONS WERE BORN THAN IN THE OTHER PHASES OF THE MOON LESS IN FIRST QUARTER THAT IT'S EQUAL

WE CONFIRM WITH THIS EXPERIMENT THAT THE HYPOTHESIS ABOUT THE FULL MOON CHILDS AND BIRTH RATES IS TRUE

CONCLUSION

DOES FULL MOON REALLY AFFECT THE AVERAGE OF BIRTHS? -As we saw in the experiment, the theorie of the full moon is completely true. As we could see in the previous page the mayority of persons were born in full moon and in first quarter.
