WHO IS YAYOI KUSAMA?
She was born in Matsumoto, Japan
She became obsessed with polka dots when she saw the stones of the river.
Her painting teachers and family didn't like her artworks. They thought she was crazy.
When she was 28 years old she moved to New York. Soon after, she became famous thanks to her polka dots artwork.
Her exhibitions travel around the world. These are some of her most famous pieces.
