INFORMATION OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM
SOLAR SYSTEM
THE SUN AND THE EIGHT PLANETS
WHAT IS THE SOLAR SYSTEM? The Solar System consists of a single star, that is the Sun and the planets that orbit it. In the Solar System there are 8 planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranos and Neptune.
Our own planet the Earth, is the fifth biggest planet in the Solar System. It is the third closest planet to the Sun.
Most planets in the Solar System have one or more satellites . The earth only has one satellite that is the Moon
INFORMATION ABOUT MARS
Curiosities of Mars
Mars
In Mars the days last 40 minutes more that in the Earth. As well one year in Mars there are 687 days and there is the biggest volcano of the Solar System, called Olimpo
Mars is the sixth biggest planet of the Solar System and the fourth planet closest to the Sun. Mars has two Satellites and their names are Fobos and Deimos. In Mars the water is solid, because the temperature is very cold.
THE BIOSPHERE, THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE LITOSPHERE DEFINITIONS
The Atmosphere
The Lithosphere
The Biosphere
Is the Earth's solid outer layer. It consists of the continents and submerged land under the oceans and seas.
Is the layer of gases that surrounds the Earth. It consist of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide and other gases.
The biosphere is the ecological system in wich life exist.

OUTER STRUCTURE OF THE EARTH
HYDROSPHERE
The Atmosphere The Hydrosphere The Litosphere
The hidrosphere is all the water that exists on Earth: Ocean and seas, rivers and lakes, ice, groundwater and water vapour.
ATMOSPHERIC COMPOSITION
INFORMATION OF LIFE ON EARTH AND VIDEOS
INFORMATION OF THE EARTH
The Earth is the only planet in the Solar System where life exist. The Earth has ideal temperature for life because has the right distance from the sun so it is no too hot or too cold. Also the Earth have a lot of water that is necesary for all living things.
VIDEOS OF THE LIFE ON EARTH
DEFINITIONS OF STAR, PLANET AND SATELLITE
Star A star is a celestial body that shines with its own light. Planet A planet is a celestial body moving in an elliptical orbit round a star. Satellite A satellite is an astronomical body that orbit planets.
