These are used to say that something is necessary or obligatory.Examples

  • There's nothing more I can do for you now. You must get in touch with the seller if you want to get a refund.
  • Unfortunately, you didn't get back to us in time. I have to cancel the transaction now and refund the buyer.
  • The seller needs to reupload the item so you can repurchase it.

must, have to and need to

Here's something to note:

  • In general, must refers to an internal feeling, whereas have to can also refer to an external obligation, e.g. a rule, a time, limit, etc.
  • We normally use have to for things that happen repeatedly with adverbs of frequency like always, often, and regularly.
  • Must not shows that it is important for something NOT to happen or take place.

This is used to say that something isa good idea.Example
