SPEAKING: What does it mean? In harmony with natureNature -Nature is defined as the natural Earth and the things on it, or the essence of a person or thing. The trees, forests, birds and animals are all an example of nature. Harmony- is a situation in which people are peaceful and agree with each other, or when things seem right or suitable together:
1.Describe the natural sounds. What do the wind, leaves, birds, stream, water, grass do? You can choose from the following verbs: click, snort, shuffle, blow, whistle, chirp, rustle, splash. 2.What is the effect of noise pollution on humans, animals and birdS? Time: 5 min
Vocabulary
wildlife- animals, birds, insects, etc. that are wild and live in a natural environment deforestation - the cutting down of trees in a large area, or the destruction of forests by people
litter -small pieces of rubbish such as paper, cans and bottles, that people have left lying in a public place
endangered- (used especially about groups of animals, plants, etc.) at risk of no longer existing
global warming - a gradual increase in world temperatures caused by gases such as carbon dioxide that are collecting in the air around the earth and stopping heat escaping into spacehanks
wildfire- a fire that is burning strongly and out of control on an area of grass or bushes in the countryside
fuel - a substance that is used to provide heat or power, usually by being burnedpollution - damage caused to water, air, etc. by harmful substances or waste
hurricane -a violent wind that has a circular movement, especially in the West Atlantic Ocean
