Ancient Greek colonists established cities all around the Mediterranean and along the coast of the Black Sea.
The ancient Greeks built cities along with Europe, Africa, and Asia, connected by the Mediterranean Sea. The Mediterranean sea allowed very different cultures to interact and influence each other. TO gREEKS, THE SEA WAS A FUNDAMENTAL PLACE. fROM THE VERY BEGINNING, THEY TRAVELED OVER THE WATER TO EXCHANGE PRODUCTS AND FOUND NEW CITIES. ALL ALONG THE COAST OF THE Mediterranean sEA AND ITS HUNDREDS OF ISLANDS, THEY ESTABLISHED A LARGE NUMBER OF CITIES, WHICH REMAIN IN CONTACT.
