JFK Vision Statement:

Principal, Ms. Jamieson & Mascot, ROAR

107 Gross Street Kingston NY 12401

Dear JFK Families,Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I am absolutely thrilled to begin another year at JFK, and I can’t wait to welcome our students back to school on Wednesday, September 3rd. I hope their summer was filled with plenty of rest, adventure, and joyful memories. As we get ready for another year of learning and growing together, I encourage you to take a few moments to review the information in this handbook. While many routines and policies remain the same, you’ll also find some important updates to help ensure a safe, happy, and successful year for all. We’re excited to continue our tradition of kicking off the year with a First Day of School Celebration on the blacktop at 8:45 AM. We’ll have music, bubbles, and lots of smiles as families cheer students on as they march into the building. Kindergarten families are welcome to walk their children to class; families of students in other grades, we ask that you say your goodbyes outside. If you have any questions as you read through the handbook or prepare for the first day, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email or Teams. We're here to help every step of the way. I’m looking forward to a year full of learning, laughter, growth, and “pawsitivity”! Please give your children a big hello from me—and let them know I can’t wait to see them soon! With love, Ms. Jamieson Principal

All cars should enter on Old Orchard Street!

8:45 a.m. -8:55 a.m.

We will be closing the back doors at exactly 8:55. This is never personal - it is simply because staff needs to be inside ready to teach. If you arrive after 8:55, please use the front door on Gross Street.

Students should exit through the passenger side and find a paw to stand on!

Cars exit from Old Orchard Street.
