Behaviorism
Characteristics
This theory is sometimes called stimulus-response theory. It incorporates a lot of Pavlov's classical conditioning theory. When Pavlov rang a bell, he would feed dogs. Eventually, the dogs would began to salivate at just the sound of the bell even if there was no food. Human behavior can be explained by conditioning and what can be observed. The learning process is a passive activity as the primary influence is environmental factors (Nagowah & Nogowah, 2009).

Cognitivism
Characteristics
Cogntivism focuses on the mind and HOW it obtains, process, and processes stores information (Clark, 2016b). It considers the learner in relation to the total environment

Constructivism
Characteristics
Constructivism believes that learning is a personal, individual experience and that people make their own knowledge. Knowledge is created between the interactions of the learner and the environmental factors.
