What is structure in poetry?
Structure is about the sequence of events, the flow of thoughts, and the linearity of narrative - in short, we're looking for how the beginning, middle and end of a text are arranged.

Stanza
Division od a poem consisting of two or more lines arranges tpgether as a unit.
Rhyme scheme
It is the pattern of sounds that repeats at the end of a line or stanza. The rhyme scheme ABAB means the first and third lines of a stanza, or the "A"s, rhyme with each other, and the second line rhymes with the fourth line, or the "B"s rhyme together.
Quatrain
Features four lines of verse; it is a series of four poetic lines that make up a verse of a poem known as a stanza
Octave
An eight-line stanza or poem. See ottava rima and triolet.
In the octave of a sonnet, the writer sets out the first part of their poem. These lines are then responded to in the sextt. Between the two there is, in some cases, a vilta.
Sestet
A six-line stanza, it refers only to the final portion of a sonnet, otherwise the six-line stanza is known as a sexain.
Run-on lines /enjambment
It is a poetic term for the continuation of a sentence or phrase from one line of poetry to the next.
indentation
It is the displacement of a textual feature inward from the margin, usually the left margin but sometimes from the right.
Iambic pentameter
It is a line of then syllables or five iambic feet. Each iambic foot is composed of an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed syllable.
