EXPLANATION OF ADJECTIVES

What Is an Adjective? In grammar, we say that an adjective modifies the meaning of a noun or pronoun. It usually comes before the nouns it modifies.

An adjective can also come after the linking verb to be when the adjective describes the subject of a sentence.
