Object: EnglishSubject: British Customs and Traditions Form:X Unit 6,lesson 2 Type of lesson: combined lesson Specific Competences: SC1, SC2, SC3, SC4 Subcompetences: 1.1 Identifying key-information from heard or viewed messages 2.2 Anticipate the content elements of a text based on the title and/or images 3.6 Decoding the unknown meaning in the context (explanations,examples,synonyms),images,grammatical references on familiar and personal topic of interest. 4.6 Taking notes based on the receipt of oral/written messages to present the main ideas in writing/oral ,to summarize the content of the message.

Objectives

O1-recognize national symbols; O2-identify the differences between the words "custom" and "tradition"; O3-learn new vocabulary; O4-identify the importance of customs and traditions for a country;

Aims:To arouse the students interest in the topic of the new lesson,to develop speaking and practising new words,to make students use their previous knowledge.
