To become a swiftie the first thing you need to know is who is taylor after all? So im going to explain to u. Tay is an American singer born December 13, 1989, her full name is Taylor Alison Swift. She grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2005, when she was so so so young, she singed with big machine records (which im gonna talk about later), to become a country music singer. She quickly became a huge success, with her debut album in the billboard 200 for 63 weeks.

listen to her albuns! taylor has currently nine albuns (a lot, i know, BUT THEY ARE AMAZING U WONT REGRET IT) If ur a fan of country music, i recommend to u to start with "fearless" and her debut album. if you are into pop, start wth "1989" and then "Red", then probably reputation (taylor's dark era, strongly recommend) and lover afterwards, just for u to feel how her style of music can change, and she has music for everyone!! between pop and country i would say we have "speak now" that is also an exellent album to get u into taylor. if u like the "folk" songs style thing, which consists in a more calm music start with folklore (this is the album that actually got me into her songs) and then evermore, that continues the narrative created in folklore PAY ATTENTION TO THE LYRICS HER WRITING SKILLS ARE AMAZING

it sucks that i even have to put this in here, but unfortunately some people might need to read it

taylor have been portrayed as this girl who only write songs about ex boyfriends, a girl who have that many boyfriends and thats it, thats why she is successful. when in reality, we dont talk about this when its ed sheeran writing about ex girlfriends (as taylor herself said). and in case you dont know, taylor had a perfeclty normal amount of boyfriends, especially for the teenager she was at the time, who i wont mention here cuz its not relevant,. without even mentioning relationships that could have been stunts.

about the video

please watch it whenever you have time, it talks about the music industry and what big machine records did. long story short: scooter braun, justin bieber... and everyone in that thing who wasnt on taylor's side, suck. i linked the video so i dont have to talk about it, since it makes me so mad, and i wouldnt tell the story correctly. im not sure if it talks about the kardashians drama as well since i watched a while ago, but u will hear about that in miss americana, keep this in mind.

if you have disney + you MUST watch "Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions" its an incredible way to get to know her 8th album "folklore" better. fun fact: folklore is an aoty (album of the year), like "fearless" and "1989". Taylor has a total of 11 grammys. without even mencioning other awards like the vmas or the amas.

at this point we all know how good taylor swift is as a person right? anyway, tay is always so kind to her fans, she is an active participant in the Make-A-Wish Foundation (and she is always donating to foundations like this.) she performed at the Sydney Sound Relief Concert, which raised $3.3 million to rebuild homes and relieve the people after the 2009 Australia bushfires, she also raised $750,000 through her Speak Now Help Now concert for the 2011 tornado victims in the Southern, and a bunch of other stuff. fun fact: Michelle Obama honored her with the “Big Help Award”. she is also a huge feminist as you can see by her songs, like "the man"and others.
