By the end of this module you should be able to:

Knowledge and Understanding1. Demonstrate a sound understanding of the differences between qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. 2. Demonstrate awareness of the limitations of different types of data and materials in research. Subject-specific Skills 3. Evaluate and recommend different sources of data and materials relevant to a particular academic research study in a business context. 4. Evaluate appropriate qualitative and quantitative data collection methods suitable for use in a business research study. Key and Employability Skills 5. Critically evaluate and reflect on the problem-solving process. 6. Employ IT skills to produce word-processed written work and to use electronic information databases. 7. Organise personal study time to achieve the above goals.
