What is it?
Learning turned around - the name says it all. It's a 180 degree change in the way we approach learning and teaching. Our past thinking turns upside down as the downward trend slows and we reorient ourselves to a new model for student growth.
Why does it matter?
The flipped classroom has changed not only our classrooms. Teachers from around the world use the model to teach classes in all curriculum areas from kids to adults.
Flipped classroom activities
- Create video lessons or interactive videos.
- Create virtual murals.
- Create presentations.
- Generate interactive questionnaires.
- Develop individual and collaborative activities.
- Publish or disseminate the works.
What do students do at home in flipped classroom?
One method of teaching that has become popular is theflipped or inverted classroom in which students dohomework during class and then watch videos with thecourse material at home.
