Chloroplasts
Creates food for the cell like the cafeteria does for the factory.
Outer Wall/Cell Wall
Provides support and protection to the cell/factory.
Vacuole
Serves as a storage room for the cell just like the storage room does for the factory.
Inner Walls/Cell Membrane
Allows only certain materials to pass through the cell/factory through doors.
Ribosomes
Create/produce anything the factory needs to function or needs to ship out of the factory. Ribosomes do the same thing for the cell.
Mitochondria
Provides the power for the cell to function.
Lysosome
Custodians clean up messes and broken machinery in the factory just like the lysosomes do for the cell.
Golgi Bodies
Ships packaged materials to other parts of the factory or to places outside of the factory just like the Golgi Bodies do for the cell.
Endoplasmic Reticulum
End products are created that the factory uses and/or sends to other places.
Factory Floor/Cytoplasm
Location of all factory activities just like it is the site of all cell activities.
Nucleolus
Hires workers for the factory just like the nucleolus creates ribosomes that produce proteins for the cell.
Nucleus
Similar to the nucleus of the cell because they both control what goes on inside the cell/factory.
