Have a rest in your cosy home.

You win!

Coal: move all red and green fields to the side and change the category words similar to the crafting table. The task will be harder if you don’t tell the players what the category is and just tell them where to start and to only use blocks that are connected. Then move the red/green back onto the blocks, they should only be grouped with the shovel. If you want to change the path, for example because you want several digging slides, you can add more/less red or green by duplicating or deleting but make sure you don’t have any spare green ones. The pink box should be grouped with the coal block that is the end point. Torch: change the right/wrong answers. You can add more by duplicating. Make sure the words are on a layer in front of the torch light. stone: ungroup all blocks and move the stripes to the side. Change the word pairs, they don’t need to be identical but you need to matching ones, e.g. 4x3 and 12. Keep the pairs next to each other, they will be jumbled automatically. Go to a different slide and come back. This will reset the numbering of the stripes e.g. bic0 and boc0. Make sure that matching cards are grouped with stripes of the same number. Group the first card, then the matching partner, then move on to the next card, then its partner and so on. Go to a different slide and come back again! Check if the numbering is still correct after the grouping. The numbers might have changed, but as long as the pairs still have matching numbers, the number doesn’t matter.

You can make the game shorter or longer by removing slides or whole games or duplicating game pages. There are some pages that can’t be removed without messing up the mechanics: • introduction (choose skin) • both pages with the title What are you going to craft? • Come on in (end of house) • You are the master of swords (end of sword) • You know how to use a torch (end of torch) • time for dinner (end of food) • With the wool... (end of bed How to edit: wood: Change Q1 etc into questions and answers e.g. 3x3 and 9 or Hamlet and Shakespeare. Change them in pairs so you remember where they need to go. Make sure the text box does not overlap the dots.

Furnace: Repace the picture with your own one. You can move the red (wrong) and green (correct) boxes around, delete spare ones or add more by duplicating, just make sure you don’t have any spare green ones. To change the size of the box without changing the size of the cross, ungroup, change the size of the box and group with the cross again. Pigs: Zoom out to see the pigs! Change the question and the answers, ideally without ungrouping from the pigs. If you have to ungroup, add a “slide” animation with a different time delay for each pig. Shears: go to learningapps.org. You will need a free account (players don’t need an account). Create a match up activity or find one for your topic. Put the code into the feedback box (in this case it is 543). When you save the app, it will give you an embed code (the bottom one). In Genially go to “insert” tab, then “others”. Paste in the code and insert into the slide. Sheep: This is a game of hangman. Give a hint but the answer should not be obvious! Change each letter in “ANSWER” to a letter of your word. Each letter needs to be grouped with a “Lettre” element. You can create more with copy and paste or delete spare ones.

House: Don’t ungroup the question boxes. They will show “q1” etc in preview mode, but it will disappear in presentation mode. Change the answers that are grouped with S1-S8 but don’t ungroup them! Change the Questions next to the boxes but make sure the text box does not overlap the answer box (not even with an empty text box space) Crafting the sword: ungroup the photo and the “image pour le puzzle” text and change to your own picture, then group again. The bullet points in the top right let you chose the number of pieces for each column/row and you can choose jigsaw pieces (oui) or square pieces (non). To change the question box: click the “check” button and select the like icon (the one with the hand). In the window, choose the code icon (the last one). In the code that appears, only change the words in [“ “] – keep all punctuation the same. Sword Practice: Move the “You died” gif to the side. Change the Questions and answers (keep the correct answer in the same place.) To change the time, change the number that is grouped with the orange box at the bottom. Move the “You died” gif back over the slide to cover it up. If you want to change it, make sure to group your picture with the “min_on” element.
