What is design thinking?
Design thinking is a term commonly known as a process of creating an innovative solution to a problem.
Who popularised Design thinking?
Tim Brown, the former CEO of IDEO. IDEO is a design and consulting firm with the goal of improving "the lives of people in poor and vulnerable communities through design.
Process of Design Thinking
1. Empathize: Gain an empathic understanding of the problem.
2. Define: Analyse observations to find the core problem.
3. Ideate: Identify new solutions to the problem.
4. Prototype: Produce a number of inexpensive, scaled-down versions of the product.
5. Test: Tests the complete product using the best solutions found during prototype phase.
Where is design thinking applied to?
Design thinking can be applied to any products, service and company as it is a flexible process used for any problems that may be required to use it.
