The natural regions of Colombia are territorial divisions made from heterogeneous characteristics in terms of relief, climate, vegetation and soil classes of the country. Due to the great diversity of climates and reliefs, these regional differences are defined by a series of very clear factors such as the characteristics of the relief (whether mountainous or flat), the distance to the sea, the average rainfall and the soil conditions. .
