IXL Expectations:
Every student in Primavera's Resource English courses will be using IXL to: * Support progress on IEP Reading and Writing goals * Gain access to skill practice to support their success in their assigned courses Students should expect to spend 15 - 30 minutes per day working in IXL Students will receive a grade for their work in IXL that will make up to 20% of their overall course grade

Take the Language Arts Diagnostic 1. Log In 2. Click "Diagnostic" 3. Click 4. Select "Language Arts" 5. Complete the Diagnostic
On Day 1 of your course, go to:https://www.ixl.com/ signin/primaveraonline Bookmark this page
Check your email to locate your username and password

The diagnostic takes between 30-60 minutes to complete. Please be sure to take your time and give it your best. Your performance on the diagnostic will build your personalized learning plan.

What Happens After I Finish The Diagnostic?
Update/Take New Diagnostic
Recommended Skills
Your teacher will assign specific lessons in IXL to support/replace assignments in your course. You will also spend a minimum of 15 minutes on your personalized "Recommendations" per day. You must choose a Language Arts skill from the available tiles. (Total of 1 hour per week)
Update your Language Arts Diagnostic (10 - 20 min) 1. Click "Diagnostic" and enter the "Arena"
2. Click
3. Select "Language Arts"
4. Complete the Diagnostic
