Immunization information systems (IIS) are confidential, population-based, computerized databases that record all immunization doses given by participating providers to people who live within a certain area.

Monitor
Monitor the status of immunization in the city
Analyze
Need to analyze the information available
Offline
Not all BHC have desktop/laptop devices and Wire internet Connection
The DOH currently uses aggregate census data in estimating needs, which result to poor planning and foresight. The government should explore using actual headcounts and electronic immunization registries in estimating the actual need and monitoring coverage and timeliness of vaccination.

"80% done"
Accurate/Realtime
"90% have been immunized succesfully"
Actual headcounts and up to date information of those who have and haven't been immunized.
"Got it"
"Were out of stock for X Vaccine"
Vaccine Stock Out
"Wait what?We just forecasted x amount would be needed "
This is attributed to inaccuracies due to aggregated information.
"Were overstocked on this X Vaccine"
A high level of aggregation in your data conceals differences between and among important subgroup categories. If you analyze a given metric at the wrong level of refinement or detail, chances are you'll fail to take the appropriate action.
"Be Data Literate Part I: Why Aggregated Data Misleads, Misinforms, Misdirects"
Vaccine Overstocks and Stockouts are quite common
It is also unclear how herd immunity thresholds Planning and procurement Storage Distribution (HIT) are accounted for in estimated demand for a particular year. Unvaccinated children from the previous years, should be included otherwise the vaccine-naïve population accumulates, which eventually lead to outbreaks and the need for supplemental immunization activities for catch-up vaccinations.
