We chose this proposal because it is ideal for students to reflect on the damage that technology can cause to their health due to their misuse of technology. By looking at the infographic below, you will be able to find solutions to improve your use of technology.

INTRODUCTION

Illnesses caused by the excessive use of technology in the health of students can cause irreparable damage to health. Based on a study through surveys of a group of basic education students from the Indo-American Technological University, it can be confirmed that the excessive use of technology can cause irreversible damage to the health of students such as back pain, insomnia, burning eyes, poor diet; what you want to achieve is to find methods to avoid them and for the student to take care of their health.

THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK

"Addicts to new technologies: the Internet, cell phones, computers or game consoles, among others, experience isolation, uncontrolled spending, depression and anxiety" (U.N.A.D, 2019). This means the misuse of technology affects both psychologically and physically, so it is important to encourage good use and avoid dependence on these electronic devices. "Staying looking at computer or television screens for hours can also cause eye problems. The most common are: dryness, eye strain, etc." (S, 2020). It is important to know that we must determine correct times in which we have breaks so as not to harm our eye health. "It is not about the headache that we will have when we see the account, but about pain in the neck, ears and even in the thumb when using the cell phone a lot" (Gonzáles, n.d.). Although in the pandemic the use of the cell phone has been very useful as much as in the studies to obtain information, but we must consider that its excessive use brings us bad consequences both economically and by deforming our body.

Our proposal to make the students of the fourth semester of basic education reflect through awareness videos, infographics, in a meeting where the health problems caused by the excessive use of technology will be discussed, and how to avoid it.
