01 Content

Let´s give a look to what we are learning in this unit

  • Grammar: Present perfect vs. Past simple tense
  • Vocabulary: biographies
  • Reading: Bob Marley and Ziggy Marley

Reading

Let´s read page 72 and page 73

  • Look at the photos of Bob and Ziggy Marley and read the introduction. Have you heard their music? Do you like it?
  • Read ten facts about the live of the two men. Decide which five a re about Bob Marley (BM) and which five are about Z iggy Marley (ZM).

Present Perfect vs Past simple

When using it? The present perfect is used to indicate a link between the present and the past. The time of the action is before now but not specified, and we are often more interested in the result than in the action itself

The simple past

The past simple actions and events in the past that now are finished. My favorite subject in school was English.
