WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (Creative Writing)

Assignment 1 task: Short Fiction collection. You must write three stories of varying lengths linked by a selected genre and/or common theme/s. Story 1: a 300-word flash fiction story, which must meet the established conventions of the medium and thus be suitable in style, tone and structure Story 2: a 500-word flash fiction story, using the plotting formula resource. Story 3: a 1,000-word short story, using the plotting formula and planning template resources. Assignment 2 task: a maximum 5-minute Performance poem or dramatic monologue (for the stage). N.B: Layout for professional submission and creative use of syntax, spelling and punctuation are important factors for all assessments.
