To know the learning process and the different ways that the human being acquires knowledge, mainly that of a language, to achieve an optimal result in the teaching a second language.

Defining motivation in general terms and in the learning process.
Defining, comparing and contrasting extrinsic and intrinsic motivation in a second language acquisition.

3.4 Activity. Motivation in the ESL/EFL class plan
1. Design two classroom activities in which you direct the objective in touching the lines of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.
2. Your work must include the following aspects:
Target students
Expected knowledge
Objective
Description of the activity
Extra comments on how motivation is spotlighted
3. Organize the information in a Word document and upload it in the corresponding space.
