Definition

Rock is driving, intense, energetic, and loud.

Rock is a kind of music with simple tunes and a very strong beats.Rock is played by a small group of people with electric guitars and drums. There are many subgenres in rock.

History

Rock started in the United States in the 1950s, it went to Europe in the ’60s, and by the ’90s it was global. Rock has a cultural impact in society because people started to listen to lyrics and sounds linked to particular moments and ideas about life.

rock music was called “Rock & Roll,” and it was a lively outgrowth from blues, jazz, and boogie-woogie.
