Take a beginner's perspective

Present the Problem

Designers should look at a PoP with the open mind, unclouded by preconceptions.

Included in the completed design should be a presentation of the skill about to be taught

DEsign is collaborative

The design process should be iterative and open to input through collaboration. It likely won't be right the first time. Get feedback and make improvements.

Actively Listen to Learn

Technology is supportive

The designer should be willing to accept user perspectives that are incongruant with their own, free of judgement.

Technology included in any instructional design should be in a supportive role to provide accessibililty and efficiency.
