Examples

To predict a future event

  • It will rain tomorrow.
  • People won't go to Jupiter before the 22nd century.
  • Who do you think will win?

To express a spontaneous decision

  • I'll pay for the tickets by credit card.
  • Maybe we'll stay in and watch television tonight.
  • I think I'll go to the gym tomorrow.
  • We'll go with you.

To express (un)willingness

  • I'll do the washing-up.
