If the verb ends in (termina en)

-sh
-ch
-x
-ss
We add -ES
eXAMPLES Go→ GOES
Wash→WASHES
Watch→WATCHES
Fix →FIXES
Pass →PASSES
RULE 2
If the verb ends in (termina en)
Consonant + Y
We write -IES
Example
STUDY→STUDIES
RULE 3
If the verb doesn’t belong (no pertenece) to RULE 1 or RULE 2, we simply add
–S.
eXAMPLES COMB→COMBS
GET→GETS
EAT→EATS
