SUPERLATIVES
Superlatives express the extreme or highest degree of a quality. We use a superlative adjective to describe the extreme quality of one thing in a group of things.
As with comparative adjectives, there are two ways to form a superlative adjective:
short adjectives: add "-est" long adjectives: use "most"

add "the" and "est"
Short adjectives
- If the adjective ends in -e, just add -st
- 1 or 2 -syllables adjectives

Examples: - Whale sharks are the strongest sharks. - Cheetahs are the fastest land animals.
Examples:-Sofia is the nicest person in my class. -Pythons are the largest snakes.

- If the adjective ends in consonant - vowel - consonat, double the last letter
