The simple present is the action that you are doing in the present in a specific moment and specific place. For understand the simple present is necessary explain the affirmative sentences, negative sentences and questions. (English, 2021)

affirmative sentences

Form: Subject-verb-complement. For example: She is adorable. Note: Depend of the subject the ending of the verb could be s.

negative sentences

The negative sentences is for express negative ideas that you don’t want to do. Form: Subject- do not- does not, verb- complement. Example: He does not eat fruits. Note: Depend of the subject it apply the does not or do not. He She does not / doesn't It They do not / don't

Question - Answer

It is for doing question in present.Form: Does/ do-subject- verb- complement-?Answer: Yes-No, subject, do or does. Example:Does she play soccer?Yes, I does.Note:Depend of the subject you have to use the does or do-SheHe Does It I You we Do they

FREQUENCY ADVERBS

An adverb of frequency describes how often an action happens

• Frequency adverbs usually occur in the middle of a sentence and have special position. Example 1: SUBJECT + FREQ ADV + VERB Karen always tells the truth • Frequency adverbs usually come between the subject and the simple present verb, too much important except main verb be. Example 2: SUBJECT + BE + FREQ ADV Karen is always on time • In a question, frequency adverbs come directly after the subject EXAMPLE 3: Do you always eat breakfast?

In the first example we can see that the sentence

final -s,-es,-ies

  • Pronounce –S added to most verbs
  • Pronounce the final –S/ -Es as following sibilants ( s,z,sh,zh,ch or x)
  • When the leter before a -Y is a consonant change the -Y to I and -y before adding an –es
